Provincetown in October?!

Ptown is a summer favorite for many - especially east coasters looking for an easy, quick jaunt. Carnival sees crowds of over 100,000 people which can be chaotic but certainly a lot of fun. As someone who works with businesses in Ptown, I have had the opportunity to visit throughout the entire year and can honestly say October is one of my favorite months in town.

Why?

Visiting off season really gives you a chance to realize how special a place Ptown really is - without the clusters of people. You can actually get into that restaurant you wanted to try or take the time in that art gallery. You can stroll the beach and grab a cocktail and just sit and chat with friends or reflect on the beauty of your surroundings. With the crisp fall air, you can take a leisurely bike ride without sweating all over the place.

There is still a lot happening in Ptown in October - with events almost every weekend. Here are a few coming up:

Not that you NEED a reason to visit, but all of these weeks are a good time. And, as many know, I work with a great hotel called Cape Colony Inn that is currently running a great promotion where you can stay any two nights, Sunday - Thursday for only $169. Let me know if you want me to hook you up with this great rate!
